Homewood's Air Force JROTC Earn High Marks in Evaluation
 
The Homewood High School Air Force Junior ROTC received high marks from Headquarters Air Force JROTC on January 14. Air Force Major Don Bailey (ret.) inspected the HHS cadets and class facilities and spoke favorably of the program that is run by Sgt. Vincent Simmons. This evaluation is required every three school years. During the evaluation, two HHS cadets were recognized and given awards for their service. Mikaela Harris and Killian Faulk received the "Outstanding Performer" award which is presented only to the top 2% of the cadet population.
