HHS Varsity Cheerleaders Help to Feed the Community

On Saturday, January 11, the Homewood High School Varsity Cheerleaders worked with the "Feed My Starving Children" organization to help package food for malnourished children around the world. During the HHS packing session, the total group of 179 people packed a total of 38,678 meals, which is enough meals to feed 106 children for an entire year. The table of HHS cheerleaders packed a total of 4,320 meals by themselves. These girls gave their time unselfishly and worked extremely hard to serve the community. The HHS Varsity Cheerleaders are sponsored by Holly Drake and Maggie Stoffregen, and coached by Leah Chancellor.
